Rectifier Cable

The power generated by our bikes must be rectified before it can be used in DC circuits. As you pedal, your muscle power moves rare earth magnets past copper coils, which are grouped into three “phases.” These phases create the three wires exiting the hub. The rectifier converts this 3-phase power into a simple + / – DC output, which is then delivered through a 20-foot jacketed cable to a Utility Box or other circuit.
