The Boulder Thursday Night Cruiser Ride (aka Happy Thursday) started back in 1992 with a small group of friends riding old school cruiser bikes (on their way to happy hour).
Over the years the group grew and now numbers well over 800 people every Thursday in the Summer months. The ride has spawned several off shoot rides: the SoBo Cruise, The Cruiser Classic, Salsburg Park Cruise and according to New Belgium Beer, was the inspiration for the Tour de Fat.
