Ranger kicked us out of the park, wanted to know about the DLG
By Soren, Mountain View, CA.- Soren, Mountain View, CA 8/6/2007The park ranger gently evicting us from a BBQ last weekend saw my bike (glowing at dusk, of course) and said, "wow, what's that?!" "A down low glow," I said. "No, where did you get that?" I gave him an xtracycle card. I even remembered to write my name on it that time.
Here's another for you:
A week or so ago, some kids startled me on the way home, but I caught up
to them at the stop light and growled a bit (they cowered a bit). I
should have brought my squirt gun (*). But then a couple nights ago, a
guy (in a car) pulled up next to me and said, "what is that on your down
tube ... I've gotta get one!" Forcees of good: 1.5 "evil:" .5
So much more confidence when I'm riding at night.
By Geddis, Tucson AZ.- Geddis, Tucson AZ 5/26/2007It gives me so much more confidence when I'm riding at night. I just feel like everyone can see me, including walkers who I can't even see. It just makes me feel so much better.
Thanks, Geddis Byerley, Tucson, AZ.
