I haven't used my down low glow in about a year. Will they work if i charge them up now?

If your DLG battery has been sitting unused for 1 year, there is a small chance it will have have gone stale. But you can check this easily by charging your DLG fully, and seeing what kind of glow-time you're getting. Compare the numbers you're getting to the glow times we have spec'ed for a new battery, and you'll know whether there's been any damage to your battery.

One thing you can do that may help remove "memory" effects due to many partial discharges and recharge or long term non-usage is to cycle charge/discharge the battery a few times.

1. Fully charge the battery
2. Discharge the battery using the DLG until it is noticeably dimmer but not completely dark
3. Repeat 3 or 4 times

If this does not help, it might be time for a replacement battery.
