Hello, in this age of technology ... is there some kind of laser light that could point to the left of your bike, at a right angle of your driving direction, to show drivers how far they need to be when overpassing you? I am thinking of a kind of light saber, as in the movie Star Wars. (It doesn't need to be so deadly) Or like the pointers sometimes used in PowerPoint presentations, but they would need to be limited to 3 feet and perhaps a bit wider or thicker.
I'm not keen of the plastic bits that stick out because they could get caught by something, even if mounted on hinges.
I like your glow in the night tubes. They go in the right direction of creating light not just on the bike but also around (judging by the photos). Are they waterproof enough?

There's a product or prototype like what you're asking.
Hey Mikalo, I remember seeing something like what you're proposing in Velovision. I'll try to research if for you. But yeah, that's the whole point of GSR technology, and it really works. http://rockthebike.com/lights/downlowglow/GSR-technology
The Down Low Glow's waterproofiing has been it's make weakness from day one. Right now most of the failures we get are unfortunately due to water penetration. The good news is we've pinned down the problem and are prototyping new ways of solving it.

any luck in your research?
Hello Fossil Fool. Any luck in your research?
Is the neon light visible during broad daylight?
No, but I'll keep at it for you
Hey, I did look through those Velovisions for you but couldn't find the product I was thinking of.

laser light show
I bet some sort of small laser light-show thing can be modified to suit your needs.
Something like this perhaps?

You know, if you need any DLG prototype testers, I'll gladly volunteer :D
