I live in a climate with unpredictable and frequent rain showers. Can Soul Cycles be used in the rain?

As for weatherproofing your rig, there are steps that you can take to be prepared for rain. You can carry a motorcycle cover with you when rain threatens. If caught without shelter nearby, you can always throw the cover over the entire Soul Cycle, and wait out the rain shower. Without question, the electronics used on a Soul Cycle can be damaged by exposure to water. Depending on the system you purchase, the electronics and battery are often tucked inside the music cabinet, but wiring and connectors, knobs and switches, as well as materials such as wood and/or leather may be exposed.

Occasionally you will have to get to a performance in the rain with your Soul Cycle. You may have an unavoidable performance commitment or mobile party scheduled.

If use in the rain is important to you, we can recommend or design a custom system with fewer vulnerable parts exposed to rain. We can varnish the bamboo and wood, avoid using leather, use only speakers without paper cones, and/or provide a way to plastic bag the controls and music cabinet quickly.

It's probably impossible to avoid water contacting your Soul Cycle system. But with preparation you can avoid permanent damage to your Soul Cycle rig.
