Our new bike culture stickers are here, thanks to Rock the Bike customer Sticker Guy (web site | party bike blog posting), our graphic designer Rob Arnow, and to Kipchoge for inspiring us with his Xtracycle stickers.
The Amaze Small Children sticker was inspired by a famous poem by Ralph Waldo Emerson:
What is success?
To laugh often and much
To win the respect of intelligent people,
and the affections of children
To earn the appreciation of honest critics
and endure the betrayal of false friends
To appreciate beauty
To leave the world better,
whether by a healthy child,
a garden patch
or a redeemed social condition
To know even one life has breathed easier because you have lived
This is to have succeeded.

At Rock the Bike, success is sending out the bike vibe in a positive, beautiful, non-confrontational way, a way that plants seeds in the imagination of small children. And apparently, it's working:
"Riding through a walkway yesterday, some tourists stopped me to take photos. They loved the idea of [my Down Low Glow lights], and it was amazing seeing the smiles on children's blue-lit faces as they walk by." -- Stephen from Salem, MA.
Every Rock The Bike order comes with a little handful of bike culture stickers. Put 'em on your two wheeled thing, and spread your love for bikes in your community.

Initially somewhat dubious...
By Jonobie, http://jonobie.livejournal.com/62449.- Jonobie, http://jonobie.livejournal.com/62449 10/30/2007I just got back from my first-ever nighttime bike ride. During our long summer days, I'd been really good about going grocery shopping on my bike once a week. But with fall in full swing, these northern latitudes get dark really early. It's typically dusk by around 5:30 and the sun has set by 6:00. I've had a headlight and blinkie lights for a while, but those never seemed quite enough to actually plan an entire trip in the dark.
A bus full of schoolchildren waived at me.
By Adam, rocbike.com www.rocbike.com.- Adam, rocbike.com www.rocbike.com 10/30/2007Tonight, a bus full of schoolchildren excitedly waved at me. I got compliments and applause as I rode through town. I struck up conversations with complete strangers. All because of an amazing bike light.
I’m always looking for ways to make my rides more safe and fun. Nighttime visibility is becoming even more important to me as winter approaches and the sky during my commutes grows darker. So I set out to research bicycle lights, and I came across a light that promised to not only ensure that I’m seen, but also bring smiles to people’s faces.
Cruising Salem, MA in Style
Submitted by Silivrenion on Sat, 10/27/2007 - 08:14.When I picked up my dual tube ice blue Down Low Glow system, my intentions were mostly for safety and a small amount of style. I was in no way prepared for the kind of popularity I'd get because of the bicycle system.
