The blender worked amazingly and we had great feedback.

We also used it to talk to people as they were preparing the fruit – where they put their peelings and skins – composting, how important it is to sort your waste out – how biodegradable waste in landfills creates harmful green house gases. We also took the opportunity to talk to people whilst they were pedaling (so they couldn’t escape!) about food miles and where the fruit comes from, how far it has to travel and how. We sourced loads of juicy berries that were in season and from local farms – and as a result had some delicious mouth watering smoothies!
