Can a Mundo be shipped ready to ride? How much extra does this cost?

The Mundo can be shipped 95% assembled. The tools required are basic: allen keys and an adjustable wrench. You are required to complete the last few steps of assembly:

1. Straighten handlebar -- 5 minutes
2. Install pedals -- 5-10 minutes
3. Install rear carrier -- 10-20 minutes.

Please note that we charge a $80 build fee in addition to the shipping cost. This is the cost of building up, test riding, and then boxing your Mundo. The shipping cost (quoted January 2009) for FEDEX Freight range from 115 for West Coast addresses, to $300 for East Coast addresses.
