Bike culture in LA is clashing with Car culture...
Submitted by Wild Johnny on Wed, 07/09/2008 - 14:34.On July 4th, in an annual ride which attracts hundreds of cyclists in Los Angeles, two cyclists - excellent road racers I'm told - were apparent victims of road rage. The driver in the car was an ER doctor, who according to witnesses, yelled at the cyclists then cut them off, and then slammed on the brakes in front of them.
The road where the cyclists were hit has become quite attractive to cyclists in recent years. Needless to say, these are dangerous times in LA, as car culture meets bike culture. see the story on the attached links....

On May 21, 2008, prior to the Memorial Day recess, the House passed H.R. 6049, the Renewable Energy and Job Creation Act of 2008. Included in the legislation is a $20 per month transportation fringe benefit for bicycle commuters to cover costs of commuting by bike.

Known as the guy in his recumbent bike who shot many pics and videos of the midnight ridazz, and experimenter with neon lights. The Midnight Ridazz held a ride in his honor last week. Nice Performances Fossil Fool & Mafi!
Submitted by Wild Johnny on Wed, 01/02/2008 - 17:51.I was entertained at the Revolution Cafe in San Francisco at Bike Culture night by Mafi and Fossil Fool while visiting the bay area for the holidays. The place was jumpin' with Mafi playin' the Quatro(spelled right?)and then when Fossil Fool took the Choprical Fish outside to the sidewalk where spontaneous dancing erupted, as well as some mixed drinks from the Bike Blender.
