Almost immediately I noticed nearly every vehicle giving me more room.

I've been running my dual tube system for the 40 minute commutes to my school.  I travel on a fairly wide shoulder of a divided 4-lane highway.  Cars zip by me going 55-60 mph.  I never had any worries about my visibility until my wife watched me leave one morning and voiced her concern.  I rode with basic blinkers on the back and had been told by drivers they could see me.  My wife's concern paved the way for my DLG purchase.  Almost immediately, I noticed nearly every vehicle giving me more room with  many changing to the other lane.  Today's commute was a foggy one and the cars and semis were still moving over.
