Thanks for helping us represent to the fullest

One of our big initiatives at Clif Bar is helping to encourage people to get out of their cars and onto their bikes once a week to make those quick trips under 2 miles from where they live; we call it the Clif Bar 2 Mile Challenge. We feel very strongly that there is great need for people to start thinking creatively about using the bike as a means of transportation to fight the effects of climate change. With our Soul Cycle Mothership attached to the ride, we’re dropping climate neutral beats and inspiring others as we ride!

D to the L to the G-L-O

Add the Down Low Glow and you’ve got yourself the ultimate bike advocacy tool. Who wouldn’t want to ride a bike that looks that cool?- Jason, Fort Orange Cycling 4/16/2008

Just the ticket

Hi Paul,
Got the light, installed it. Lovely job mate! Just the ticket. Love the collection of fittings and straps that come with it too.

Cheers

Giving our Mundo a real workout

Hi! from down under in New Zealand. We are giving our Yuba Mundo a real

came back commenting how light it was to ride.

Ben's wheelchair

I've got a new wheelchair coming in February, and keeping the lights very much in mind, I've ordered the frame to be polished titanium... that's going to show the lights off brilliantly!- Ben from the UK 4/4/2008

Ranger kicked us out of the park, wanted to know about the DLG

The park ranger gently evicting us from a BBQ last weekend saw my bike (glowing at dusk, of course) and said, "wow, what's that?!" "A down low glow," I said. "No, where did you get that?" I gave him an xtracycle card. I even remembered to write my name on it that time.

Here's another for you:

A week or so ago, some kids startled me on the way home, but I caught up
to them at the stop light and growled a bit (they cowered a bit). I
should have brought my squirt gun (*). But then a couple nights ago, a
guy (in a car) pulled up next to me and said, "what is that on your down

So much more confidence when I'm riding at night.

It gives me so much more confidence when I'm riding at night. I just feel like everyone can see me, including walkers who I can't even see. It just makes me feel so much better.
