MissionMission

We're on a mission to make help bike people spread the love in their communities. We hope to see a time when the spirit of the bike -- the fun, the independent, the romantic, the beautiful, the quirky, and the magical -- when that essence pervades our communities, uplifting kids, helping to transcend fear.

Friday Night, Monday Morning. We envision social rides with live music sprouting up in every town and city. Friday Night comes, and friends get together to experience the night, the city, the country, the hill, with great music, and beautiful lighting. A chance to meet and move, to talk and pedal.

But it's not the fulfillment of our dream unless, come Monday morning, those same people are still so inspired that they want to ride to work. Even if it's raining or cold.

"A lot of the music itself is talking about a progressive, green, or positive message. And so to really drive that home, if your audience is pedaling and that's how you get your power, it's a really nice way to complete the message."

See video of the pedal-power piece on TV20's site.

Quotation:
Gabe, Paul, and Nate put their heads together to build the first lightweight, portable, bike powered P/A system loud enough for a rock show, and a more sustainable form of rock & roll was born. With Rock The Bike’s sponsorship, Gabe soon became a proud guinea pig in the first ever bike-powered rock tour.

Rock the Bike message spreads to Australia

We got this fantastic email from a potential customer in Australia, who's been following our progress on the web:

"I like your philosophy -- over the last two years I've got into
bikes in a big way, I gave up cigs for it, it's helped my mental health,
my relationships and I've re-discovered my competitive spirit by
entering a few mtb and road races. Now I'm gearing up to make my
commute more like a lifestyle rather than just something I do when I
feel like it.

Your journey has inspired me further along those lines. Cheers,

Tim"

One of the most satisfying aspects of being in this business is knowing that we're inspriring people to change their lives for the better.

Thanks, Tim!
